Alexander Naryshkin
Alexander Naryshkin was born on June, 3 1956 in Leningrad (at present - Saint Petersburg).
In 1973 he left the 211th secondary school and then entered the therapeutic faculty of the Leningrad Sanitary-and-hygienic Medical Institute (nowadays - the St.-Petersburg Mechnikov State Medical academy).
In 1979 he graduated with a first-class honours degree from the Institute and followed at the clinical studies at a pharmacology department of the Scientifically - Research Institute of the Experimental Medicine, Academy of Medical Sciences (the head of the Department - Academician Sergey Anichkov, the direct supervisor of studies - Pr.Jury Borodkin, neuropharmacology laboratory head).
Naryshkin combined study with work as a staff physician-neuropathologist at the Laboratory for stereotaxic neurosurgery of the Department of neurophysiology of the Scientifically - Research Institute of the Experimental Medicine, Academy of Medical Sciences (the head of the Department - Academician N.P.Bekhterev, the head of the Laboratory - Professor V.M.Smirnov).
Since 1981 was he a doctor-neuropathologist of the Clinic of neurology and neurosurgery at the Scientifically - Research Institute of the Experimental Medicine, Academy of Medical Sciences of the Soviet Union.
Since 1984 - the doctor-neurosurgeon of the Clinic.
Since 1993- the head of the neurosurgery branch of the 10 th City hospital, then of the 23 rd City hospital.
Since 1997-the assistant at the faculty of neurology, neurosurgery and medical genetics of St.Peterburg I.I.Mechnikov State Medical Academy; since 2002 - the senior lecturer of the faculty.
In 1991 Naryshkin defended the thesis 'Experimentally-clinical approaches to treatment of a phantom-painful syndrome' and he was conferred a candidate's degree.
Since 1995 - the doctor of the high qualifying category.
Since 2006 - Senior research worker of the nervous und psychical diseases surgery department of the St.Petersburg Bekhterev scientific-research psychoneurological institute.

Scientific interests of his last years:
- Treatment of various tonic infringements by the transtympanic chemical vestibular dereception method (cervical dystonia, deforming muscular dystonia, parkinsonism, spastic paresis, etc.).
- Treatment of sharp focal not inflammatory defeats of a brain (trauma, insults), and also their proof residual phenomena by the weak transcranial electric influences.
- Complex treatment of posttraumatic and alcoholic korsaker syndrome.
- Treatment of various vegetative dysfunctions, including so-called diencephalic syndrome.
The marital status: married, has two daughters of school age.
