Victor Dobek

Victor Dobek was born in 1956 in Odessa. In 1979 has completed the medical faculty of the Leningrad Sanitary-and-hygienic Medical Institute (at present - the St.-Petersburg Mechnikov State Medical Academy).

Since 1979 to 1981 he worked as a doctor - psychiatrist of the Leningrad Regional psychiatric hospital ?3.

Since 1981 was he a doctor - psychiatrist of the 3-rd Skvorzov-Stepanov City Psychiatric hospital.

Since 1983 - head of the branch in this hospital.

Since 1984 and at present ТХ heads the clinical branch being the base of the Department of the clinical psychopharmacology of the Bekhterev Psychoneurological Institute led by M.Dr. Pr. J.L.Nuller.

Since 2001 is Dobek the senior teacher of faculty of psychiatry of the Raul Vallenberg Institute of special psychology and pedagogies.

He is the certificated expert in psychotherapy, narcology, sexology.

Since 1998 he has the degree of the doctor of the high qualifying category.

In 1994 he got the International certificate by the International Society of public health in DSM-4.

In 2002 has he got the International certificate GCP on the right of clinical tests of medical products.

His name is specified in the book 'Names of the ииI century: who is who in medicine of Saint Petersburg' (Publishing house " Names ", SPb, 2002).

2003 was Dobek awarded with the Certificate of honour of Ministry of Health of Russia for merits in the field of public health services.

Married. He has two children.

Hobby: literature, cookery, tourism.

1976-1979: studying the schizophrenia premorbid under leading of M.Dr.Pr. Slutchevsky.

1981-1984: research of immune infringements at mental frustration, influences of electroconvulsant therapy on a level of the serotonin liquor under leading of M.Dr. Gurevitch.

Since 1984 has the basic interest of Dobek concentrated on disturbing - depressive frustration in structure of various diseases.

Under leading of M.Dr.Pr.Nuller are approved and introduced on the basis of branch investigates tens new energizers and other psychotropic preparations, techniques of treatment of depersonalizational frustration, developed original clinical approaches to therapy of affective psychoses.

Training doctors-interns, clinical interns and post-graduate students is organized by Dobek in the Branch too.

Area of joint interests:

Opportunities of application of system influences on a brain (transtympanic chemical vestibular dereception, transcranial micropolarization, neurodynamic leading) for correction of the intellectual-mnestical infringements within the psychoorganic and korsakover syndromes, and depressions of various genesis.
